CUTTING EDGE ALCOHOL ABUSE TREATMENT
Changing a person’s identity from alcohol abuser to nonalcohol user ends alcohol problems. – Daniel W. Minerva
It is highly likely that I can assist you, or a loved one in removing alcohol and other drug abuse issues, as well as substantially reducing the anxiety and depression that you may experience. Over the past four decades, my studies, research, and treating clients who abused alcohol lead me with the additional significant contribution from my clients to develop and to design state-of-the-art alcohol treatment that produces lasting favorable results. The finding from the research I conducted is that alcohol abusers, who actually become nonalcohol users, found that abusing alcohol and other substances is no longer a problem, and returning to drug abuse is highly unlikely. The reason is that once people change their identity from alcohol abuser to nonalcohol user, they no longer place the same value on abusing drugs as something that they are willing to continue.
The foundation of your treatment will be based on Descriptive Psychology founded by Peter G. Ossorio, who mentored me for twenty years, integrated with Aaron T. Beck’s Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness Training as taught by the writings of Pema Chodron, and my clinical practice, studies, research, and training. I offer to assist you in developing the competence, knowledge, and mastery to end alcohol and other drug abuse concerns you may have. You and I together will design, implement, and update on a regular basis your customized, comprehensive treatment program to eliminate or to reduce the following, alcohol, other drug abuse, anxiety and depression that cause you harm, pain, and suffering.
Your customized treatment program is based on a sixty-minute combined individual psychotherapy and coaching session once a week, telephone conversations and texting between sessions, and also includes whatever you and I determine that may help you succeed in exchanging alcohol abuse for the life you always wanted to live. I look forward to providing you with the care you want and need to maintain a fulfilling, healthy, and prosperous lifestyle.
